Anna Wishart
Anna Wishart is the Sr. Director of Public Affairs for Monolith, a clean technology and materials company based in Nebraska. Monolith is the first methane pyrolysis company in the world to achieve commercial scale. In her role, Anna oversees external-facing corporate activities, including government relations, community engagement, corporate communications, marketing and branding, and philanthropy.
Prior to Monolith, Anna served as Director of Partnerships at Beyond School Bells, Nebraska’s afterschool and summer learning network.
Anna has also dedicated her career to public service. She has represented her community on the Lincoln Airport Authority Board, overseeing airport operations and industrial park development. Most recently, Anna finished eight years of service as a Nebraska state senator, four of which she served as Vice Chair of the Legislature’s Appropriations Committee, which is responsible for balancing Nebraska’s budget. Anna also serves on the Downtown Lincoln Association.
She was born and raised in Nebraska, attended Lincoln Southeast Highschool, and is a graduate from Middlebury College in Vermont.
