Courtney Dentlinger

Courtney Dentlinger is the Government Affairs Manager of Nebraska Public Power District, and serves as the District’s principal lobbyist at the Unicameral and manages NPPD’s state government affairs activities.


Courtney has nearly two decades of experience in legal and policy analysis, economic development, and government relations. She is a native Nebraskan, who earned a bachelor’s degree in political science, international studies and Spanish from Wayne State College, and a juris doctorate from George Washington University in Washington, DC. She has worked in the U.S. Senate, lobbied at federal level, and was a member of the administration of Northeast Community College.


Prior to joining the energy industry as Nebraska Public Power District’s Government Affairs Manager in 2017, Dentlinger led the Nebraska Department of Economic Development for two years as part of Governor Ricketts’ cabinet. She and her husband Nick reside in Norfolk with their children Adriana, Blake, Maddux and Kiersten.
