Tim O'Brien

Tim O'Brien is the Economic Development Manager for the Omaha Public Power District (OPPD). Tim and his team lead all aspects of economic development from new business development to retention and expansion to community development. Prior to his role at OPPD, he was the Business Development Manager for the Nebraska Department of Economic Development (NEDED). At NEDED, he oversaw statewide business development efforts with a personal focus on information technology and data center development. Tim holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in Management Information Systems and a master’s degree from Doane College.
