Ty Lucas

Ty Lucas is the Chief Lending Officer & Executive Vice President for NebraskaLand Bank, headquartered in North Platte, Nebraska, with locations in Kearney, Nebraska and Rock Springs, Wyoming. In addition to portfolio and balance sheet management, Ty’s professional objectives are focused daily on Customer Relationships and the growth of the Lending and Business Development officers at the Bank. Ty serves on the Board of Directors for NebraskaLand Bank and the affiliated Holding Company.

Ty is currently serving his second term as an elected member of the North Platte City Council. He is a former member of the North Platte Planning Commission, North Platte Quality Growth Fund Review Committee, North Platte Area Chamber/Development Corporation Board (former chair), and is an active member of the North Platte Chamber Ambassadors and Nebraska Bankers Association.

Ty is a 1999 graduate of the University of Florida with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration in Management, History and Finance. Ty then graduated in 2008 from the University of Wisconsin’s Graduate School of Banking after completing the Nebraska Bankers Associations Leadership program in 2006.

Ty was honored as North Platte Business Person of the Year in 2016 and enjoys life with his wife Jackie, of 26 years, who are both natives of North Platte. They have two grown sons that reside in Omaha and Kearney.
